- Details: During the workshop, students will be taught about refraction of light by using household materials. This workshop will help establish a fundamental understanding of this concept of physics and practical implications of refraction in our day to day lives.
Material Requirements
1. Two transparent glasses
2. Two coins
3. Plain A4 Size paper for drawing
4. Scissors
5. Pen/ Pencil / Sketch pen
6. 1 glass of water

About the Tutor:
She has worked on designing toys from easily accessible materials that help children understand the basic concepts of science thus making learning fun for them.This workshop is being conducted by Mrs. Jyoti Nilesh Hiremath, a scientist and lawyer who has worked closely with Padma Shree awardee Arvind Gupta at IUCAA Science Center, Pune. She has conducted science/ toys workshops for the last 15 years and has conducted more than 500 workshops Pan India.
